I'm five months pregnant and I typically feel pretty good. The thing is, my friends and family probably think I am suffering the worst, most uncomfortable pregnancy ever – because I have gotten in the habit of using my pregnancy as an excuse to get out of things...parties, dinners ...you name it.
Sure, my feet swell and I get tired quicker than I used to, but you'd think I should be on bed rest with the way I use it as an excuse. My husband thinks it's great (of course), but I'm starting to feel a little guilty. Is it OK that I use my pregnancy as an excuse to get out of functions my husband and I don't want to go to...even if I'm feeling fine?
