This seems rather odd in 2013, but the majority of fathers would rather have their wives quit their jobs and stay home, or at least work part-time. A survey discovered 37% of dads believe mothers shouldn't work outside the home at all, while 41% say part-time is a good compromise.

Ask women, though, and you get a different answer. 37% of women want to work full time, which is a full 16% HIGHER than what the survey found in 2007.

50% want part-time work compared to 60% in 2007, and only 11% prefer to stay home compared to 19% in 2007.

Wow! Get this -- asked if full-time working moms are doing an excellent or very good job raising their children, and 75% of moms said yes. But less than that, 64% of dads said the same. I bet you wouldn't tell her that to her face, though, would you, big guy?
