Helloooo! Welcome to MY PAGE! My own little chunk of the World Wide Web. It's very exciting.
My career started while in college at a little Top 40 station in Clare, Michigan (the Gateway to the North). Not only was I a weekend DJ, but I was also the station janitor. No kidding! I did what was needed to break into the biz, even if it included scrubbing toilets.
After Clare, it was on to Saginaw, Michigan, a decade in Kalamazoo (yes, there really is...), north to Grand Rapids, and then south to Greenville, where I'm excited to take over afternoons on MY 102.5!!!
I met the love of my life in Kalamazoo at a wine festival. Kelcey told me on that first night: "You'll never meet a girl in Kalamazoo." Apparently not... that night! But I won her over with my charm, wit, and a great deal of wine. We married in September of 2001. She's my best friend.

A new study shows dieters who ate early lunches tended to lose more weight than those who had their midday meal on the later side. The finding doesn't prove bumping up your lunch hour will help you shed those extra pounds. But researchers say it's possible eating times play a role in how the body regulates its weight.
Tomorrow (January 31) Deborah Ford will retire from the U.S. Postal Service in Detroit after 44 years without using any of her sick days. Though her colleagues applaud her level of commitment, the 64-year-old Ford doesn't see what the big deal is. Ford says, "I was trying to do the best I could, and that just evolved into working all my scheduled days." Ford said when she was sick, she would simply "shake it off." For appointments, say, with the doctor, she would use vacation days.
... Ford says her father, who is 86 years old and never took a sick days in 30 years, also doesn't see what the fuss is about.
Justin Bieber's manic Internet following requires three dedicated servers at Twitter headquarters. A photo from the Twitter folks shows three servers labeled "Bieber," one labeled "Gaga," and one labeled "Wills and Kate."
A tabloid says Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are getting married at the end of May. If tabloids were fact, Brad and Angie would be on their 9th marriage.
Barbara Walters was released from a New York hospital on Tuesday, one day after it was revealed the veteran journalist has the chicken pox. She's now recovering at home, and "getting stronger," according to ABC.
