I actually know a couple that seems to get along and work well together even though they are divorced. I don't know how the actual DIVORCE went down and what caused it, but they split the kids 50/50, he had to move for his job and she followed so the family unit could, sort of , stay intact. Is that common? I wouldn't think so, but it looks like Jenni Garth and Peter Facinelli have figured it out:
90210 star Jennie Garth and Twilight star Peter Facinelli are
officially divorced as of early this week. The couple separated early last year after 11 years of marriage and made it all official on Tuesday. What's really interesting is these two probably had the nicest, most amicable divorce settlement ... ever!
The two have each declined spousal support, and they're doing
something pretty cool for their three daughters. Jennie and Peter are funding a joint bank account for the care and education of their children. Both parents will deposit money in equal amounts, and each has full access to the accounts. They have also agreed to share custody of their girls without a formal legal custody arrangement!
If they get along so well and trust each other so much, why in the
world are they even getting divorced?! (TMZ)
