I really didn't do badly this year. I have had years where I think, "do you know me at all?" after opening one of my presents.

I don't really like to take gifts back. If it breaks or is just the wrong size, then ok, but if I just don't particularly care for it, it will just hang in the closet or stay in a cabinet indefintely.

One year, in my teens, I asked for a David Bowie cd. I was just certain I would get it. Christmas morning I got up, saw a package that looked like that cd, ripped it open and Ta-Daaaaa....the Greatest Hits of Christy Lane. Who? What? Yep, that one went back the very next day.
