Our kids get up on Christmas day by 6am. My daughter (who will be 21 in February) is at the root of it all. The boys would sleep longer...maybe 7 or 8 but she gets up and runs to wake them up. Ugh. Shop ON Christmas Day? Where are ya doing that kind of thing? The only store I can think of that would be open would be a Spinx/QT type place. Beenie Weenie's for Christmas or roller meat? Good luck with that.

A new survey by Timex
  reveals that only 3% of people do their Christmas
  shopping on Christmas Day. Other findings:

- more than 60% are willing to wait in line 10 minutes or more to buy a gift

- more than half of kids (51%) will wake up before 7AM on Christmas Day to
  get their presents
