I have to admit, I have started. I started my Christmas shopping last month...just picking up some things. I'm getting closer but certainly not done. How about you? According to this survey, 7 percent have FINISHED their shopping. What fun is that??

A new survey by the Rasmussen Report reveals that 7% of
people have completed their holiday shopping. Other findings:

 - 32% of people have started their holiday shopping while
65% have not yet begun

 - 81% of shoppers will purchase at least one gift card and
will spend an average of $156.86 on gift cards (National Retail Federation)

 - total spending on gift cards: $28.79 billion

 - 60% of consumers would like to receive gift cards this
year

 - of the surveyed shoppers, 11.2% will purchase friends or
family members a gift card for an online merchant; 18.1% for a coffee shop;
39.1% for a department store; 20.8% for a book store; 12.6% for a grocery
store/gas station; 14.2% for a discount store; and 33.3% for a restaurant.
