This has been a topic FOREVER but it's still an arguement. Remember When Harry Met Sally? The movie starts with Harry hitting on Sally, then they become friends, then they end up sleeping together and falling in love. So, the answer here was still no. Men and women cannot be friends really...there is always that underlying sexual tension going on and if given enough time...who knows what could happen. (Keep in mind, this is just MY opinion).
