Communicating with teenagers is hard enough...don’t make it any harder! A poll found that teens are much more likely to respond to their parents’ texts than phone calls. Texting allows kids to keep a low profile when communicating with their parents- a high priority in the cutthroat world of the high school social scene (talking to your mom on the phone is so uncool). It’s also quicker, easier and more convenient. As if you needed proof that teens love to text, a Nielsen report found that the average American teenager sends or receives more than 3,000 text messages a month. Do you prefer to text or talk?
